	BEHAVIOUR BASED SAFETY Management can be defined as acts of getting people together to accomplish desired goals and objectives efficiently and effectively. Management comprises planning, organizing, staffing, leading or directing, and controlling an organization or effort for the purpose of accomplishing a goal. A management system also consists of interacting or interdependent entities forming an integrated whole, all held together by people. It is thus imperative that people’s behaviour reflects the intention of the systems within they function.
